The Ohana o' keanuenue Region of the Secular Franciscan Order consists of 6 Fraternities on 4 Hawaiian Islands, plus our Guam Fraternity. We are established under the rules of the National Order, which is part of the International Order.
The Region of Ohana O' Ke Anuenue wishes to share the good news of a successful elective chapter, held at Holy Trinity Parish in Honolulu, Hawai'i this 6th Sunday of Easter!
The following Franciscans generously gifted their Region with their service for the next three years:
Liz Ishimitsu, ofs.....................elected Minister for her 2nd term!
Theresa Babauta, ofs..... vice minister, first term, from new fraternity, Padre Pio, Guam
Stan Nakamoto, ofs.........Secretary, first term
Benjamin Diaz, ofs.......Treasurer, first term, from Padre Pio , Guam
Joann San Nicolas, ofs..........Formator, first term, from Padre Pio, Guam
Toni Rodrigues, ofs.........First Counselor
Candie Pinaula, ofs.........Second Counselor
James Doyle, ofs.............Third Counselor
Elections followed the Regional Visitation, with CNSA Fr. Christopher Panagoplos, TOR as the Friar Witness and Pastoral Visitor.
Joshua Molidor, ofs, presided over the elections, and was the Fraternal visitor. The Region generously provided with a grand celebration afterward. Blessings upon those who worked so hard to make this weekend a success! --
